On the third day of Dynamo training camp in Turkey the team did a multi-stage fitness test, known among athletes as yo-yo test or beep test.
This test is a run between two marks located at a distance of 20 meters from each other. A player must cover the distance from chip to chip according to sound signals, hence one of the names – beep-test, while the time between signals decreases with each level.
This test gives an idea of the functional state of athletes, in particular aerobic endurance. Most players don’t like it as to pass it you need to put yourself to the limit of your abilities.
This time, Vladyslav Dubinchak lasted the longest. He finished his race to the applause of his teammates and as the timer stopped, collapsed on the ground.
After such a load the coaching staff gave the team a little rest and let them play with the ball. It was the exercise players love – tennisball. Here, technical skills of players come first.
The morning session finished off with positional practice aimed at build-up and attacks finishing improvement.
Unlike the morning session, the afternoon one was rich on game exercises. Dynamo players practiced passing, possession and pressing, worked separately on attacking and defensive actions. And at the end of the third training day, divided into two teams, they played on almost the entire field.
