On Tuesday, June 16, the draw ceremony for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League took place in Nyon, Switzerland. At this stage Dynamo Kyiv will begin its European campaign for the 2026/27 season as the winner of the Ukrainian Cup.
According to the draw results Ihor Kostiuk’s side will face a two-legged tie against Universitatea from Cluj, Romania, which finished second in the national championship.
Matches between Dynamo and Universitatea will be played on July 9 and July 16. In accordance with the competition regulations the first leg will be a home match for the Kyiv side while the return leg will be played away.
It should be recalled that Dynamo will play its nominally home European matches in the new season at Arena Lublin in Poland.
