This year we’ll witness the 63rd season of the most prestigious European football competition. Six Ukrainian teams have taken part in it – FC Dynamo Kyiv, FC Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Zoria Luhansk, FC Dnipro, FC Tavria Simferopol and FC Metalist Kharkiv.
FC Dynamo Kyiv are the most successful Ukrainian team in this contest. The White-Blues are 11th in the UEFA rankings (1955/56 – 2016/17)!
It should be also mentioned that UEFA hasn’t taken into account the White-Blues victories against Aalborg BK (1:0, 3:1) and Panathinaikos FC (1:0) in 1995/1996 season as those wins were canceled.
