Did you know that… Last season Legia won the Europa League group confidently. They defeated FC Metalist Kharkiv twice (1:0 and 2:1). In the round of 32 they were outplayed by Ajax (0:1 and 0:3). Before the last season Polish side faced Ukrainian clubs in euro cups twice: in 1986/1987 UEFA Cup first round they defeated FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (0:0 and 1:0) and in 2006/2007 Champions League third qualifying round they lost against FC Shakhtar Donetsk (0:1 and 2:3).
