The club was founded in 1945. They’ve been leaders of Bulgarian football for five years already. Ludogorets have won five domestic titles in a row, two Bulgarian Cups and two Super Cups.
In 2013 47-year-old businessman Kiril Domuschiyev took charge of the club. Due to his generous financial investments the Greens got an opportunity to be active on transfer market.
Ludogorets have 10 internationals in their lineup. Three of them – Cosmin Moți, Andrei Prepeliță and Claudiu Keșerü performed for Romania at the Euro-2016.
Ukrainian defender Ihor Plastun born in Kyiv is one of 15 foreign players of the team.
61-year-old head coach of the club Georgi Dermendziev has been working with Ludogorets since July of 2014. He’s already won a sparring against FC Dynamo Kyiv (episode pictured).
