Most common results are 1:0 (three times for Dynamo and four times for Shakhtar) and 2:1 (four times for the White-Blues, three times for Donetsk side).
As for goals scored before the break Dynamo are ahead – 32:17. Shakhtar scored a bit more in second halves – 32:30.
The White-Blues played the biggest number of matches against Shakhtar under Valeriy Lobanovskyi – 10 (W-4, D-5, L-1, 14 – 7). Speaking about Shakhtar, such coach is Mircea Lucescu (20 matches).
In 2001 Olexandr Melashchenko scored in two fixtures against Shakhtar with both goals netted 17 minutes into the game.
Serhiy Rebrov scored against Shakhtar in three home matches in a row on May 12 and September 1 1997 and on November 29 1998.
Four Dynamo performers scored against Donetsk side one minute before the break: Olexandr Khatskevych, Maxym Shatskikh, Artem Milevskyi and Andriy Yarmolenko. Shakhtar have three such players: Vorobei, Lewandowski and Belik.
Earliest goals against Shakhtar were netted by Andriy Shevchenko and Younes Belhanda (pictured).
Both of them did that 7 minutes into the game. Shakhtar leader in this case in Srna (2nd minute).
Oleh Husiev is the only Dynamo player, who managed to hit Shakhtar goal a minute before the time.
Andriy Shevchenko is Dynamo best striker in matches against Shakhtar with six goals. Donetsk side halfback Jadson scored five against Kyivans.
Dynamo defeated Shakhtar by three goals to nil twice in home matches (21.11.09, watch video and 01.05.11).
