In 2000/2001 Ukrainian Cup round of 32 our team lost sensationally against FC Spartak Sumy on penalties after goalless draw. In 2009/2010 Ukrainian Super Cup Kyivans opposed FC Vorskla Poltava in Sumy. The game also ended in a goalless draw, but that time Dynamo won the penalty shootout.
In UPL Dynamo thrashed FC Kharkiv 4-0 on October 4, 2008.
As for Dynamo-2, they faced Sumy teams away 11 times (W-6, D-2, L-3, goal difference – 25:12 for Kyiv side).
