Dynamo in Turkey. Beep test as physical conditions check

In the morning it all started with exercises players did in threes. It was both a warm-up and work on passing accuracy.

The major part of the morning was dedicated to so-called beep test or yo-yo test. This is one of the most difficult exercises players do at training camps.

It’s a kind of shuttle run between two marks located 20 meters far from each other. A player is supposed to run in accordance with sound signals. The period of time between these signals is getting shorter with every minute (level). Players, who have the best physical conditions, turn out to be the most enduring.

To do the test players were divided into two groups. While the first one had the test, the second one was working one the neighboring field. The head coach Olexiy Mykhailychenko praised everyone, even those, who fell out of the race a bit earlier.

In the first group the best result was demonstrated by Mikkel Duelund. Tomasz Kedziora was the second best. In the second group Olexandr Andriyevskyi finished first while Josip Pivaric – second.

After test Kyivans had game exercises – played in squares and had several mini-matches.

Mykyta Burda, Viktor Tsyhankov, Artem Shabanov and Nazariy Rusyn worked individually due to health issues.

Ruslan Neshcheret and Heorhiy Tsytaishvili have rejoined the first team after short period at Dynamo U-19 camp. They’ll be training with the first team till February 8 after which they’ll return to Kyiv with Dynamo U-19 to play the UEFA Youth League game against GNK Dinamo Zagreb.
