Dynamo coach Serhiy Bezhenar faced some problems as the White-Blues defender Bohdan Mykhailenko was suspended and Olexiy Shchebetun was injured.
Never the less Kyivans started the game actively. 10 minutes into the match Rostyslav Taranuha missed the target from the box. Later Shakhtar goalkeeper cleared Volodymyr Shepelev’s shot from distance.
56 minutes into the game Dynamo defender fouled against Pykhalenok inside the area and Shakhtar scored from the spot.
Five minutes later Kyivans equalized the score. Artem Kovbasa hit the goal with a header after a high cross.
Right before the final whistle Vladyslav Sotnyk put a cross into Shakhtar penalty area, goalkeeper didn’t manage to clear the ball and Artem Kovbasa grabbed the winner!
Thus Dynamo U-16 win the Ukrainian National Youth Competition!
