Dynamo players in UPL matchday 24 all-star teams

The biggest number of “call-ups” belongs to goalscorer Domagoj Vida. Journalists have also paid attention to Yevhen Khacheridi, Aleksandar Dragovic, Serhiy Rybalka, Jeremain Lens and head coach Serhiy Rebrov.

Domagoj VIDA

UA-football.com: (2nd time in all-star team): “Croatian defender has deserved the reputation of player, who doesn’t score often, but his goals are always deciders. That’s what happened last season in the Ukrainian Cup final against Shakhtar and in the UPL matchday 8 fixture against Donetsk side. Vida did the same thing in the matchday 24 game against Dnipro. Domagoj’s goal has golden colour, besides he was very active on Kyivans’ left flank”.

Football club: (2nd time in all-star team): “Croatian defender has proved he’s really versatile once again. Featuring as left back he performed the role of finisher when it was necessary and scored another important goal that made the White-Blues champions”.

Football.ua: “It’s no coincidence that Vida scored the only goal of the game against Dnipro. He was Dynamo most active payer.

Interesting fact. Vida took part in 60 Dynamo attacks”.

Matchday.ua: “Croatian defender netted the White-Blues “golden” goal, so of course he deserves being in the all-star team”.

Footboom.com: “Vida didn’t defend very confidently, but the goal he scored against Dnipro became the decider and made Dynamo champions”.

Yevhen KHACHERIDI

UA-football.com: (5th time in all-star team): “It’s another game when Khacheridi performs as example of good defender. Besides 27-year-old player often joined attacks. Yevhen didn’t make a single serious mistake and made a strong contribution into Dynamo victory”.

Footboom.com: “Dynamo defense leader has deserved the spot in all-star team again. This time Kyivans’ centre back opposed Kalinic and made only one mistake that resulted in promising free kick for Dnipro. Still he blocked Matheus’s shot with his head”.

Aleksandar DRAGOVIC

Football club: (5th time in all-star team): “Kyivans’ centre back didn’t have much work in the game against Dnipro. Austrian defender coped with his main duties easily and joined attacks effectively”.

Serhiy RYBALKA

Football club: (5th time in all-star team): “One of Dynamo most consistent performers demonstrated worthy play in the match against Dnipro. Rybalka stopped visitors’ efforts and helped attacking players of his team. He performed assist after which Domagoj Vida scored the decider”.

Matchday.ua: “After Rybalka’s shot Vida obtained the ball and scored the decider. Serhiy also helped defenders and then started Kyivans’ attacks”.

Footboom.com: “Rybalka was the most confident midfielder in the matchday 24 game against Dnipro. Serhiy didn’t forget to defend when necessary after which he started attacks. He unleashed the shot after which Domagoj Vida got the ball and scored”.

Jeremain LENS

UA-football.com: (4th time in all-star team): “Vida’s activeness on the left flank let Lens focus mostly on attack. Dnipro couldn’t cope with Jeremain’s solo efforts. His crosses and shots were extremely dangerous”.

Football club: (7th time in all-star team): “Lens is a traditional trouble for all opponents’ right backs. This time Dutch winger won his mini-duel against Ksionz”.

Coach – Serhiy REBROV

UA-football.com: (4th time in all-star team): “Rebrov became Dynamo head coach on May 18 2014 and today one can say he’s achieved incredible success. Last season Kyivans finished fourth in domestic league, but now they are first. They also won 2013/14 Ukrainian Cup and reached the Europa League quarterfinals. Under the charge of Rebrov the White-Blues can fight for positive result despite any circumstances”.

Football club: “Kyivans’ head coach managed to set players for the decisive match despite some anxiety. Dynamo won and gladdened fans, who came to the NSC Olimpiyskyi”.
