FC Dynamo Kyiv and FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk faced each other 45 times within the Ukrainian Premier League. Kyivans won 29 times, Dnipro – seven and nine more matches ended in a draw. Goal difference is 81:36 for the White-Blues.
Still this season neither side has great advantage. Both teams struggle for Premiership. That’s why we are in for a real six-pointer.

Personalities
Little number of goals conceded by Dnipropetrovsk side is the desert of Dynamo goalkeeper Denys Boiko, who features for Dnipro on loan. He’s made 19 appearances in the UPL this season.
Kyivans have wider range of keepers. In the first part of the season Maxym Koval (11 appearances) and Olexandr Shovkovskyi (8 appearances) played interchangeably. During the winter break Olexandr Rybka earned the regular starting spot.
Dnipro defenders, who have the biggest number of appearances, are Ondřej Mazuch (17), Ivan Strinic (17), Yevhen Cheberiachko (16), Artem Fedetskyi (13) and Vitaliy Mandziuk (12).
The White-Blues key centre back Yevhen Khacheridi (17 appearances) has picked up an injury. At the moment Dynamo coaching staff can count on Aleksandar Dragovic (15), Danilo Silva (12), Yevhen Makarenko (12) and Domagoj Vida (8).
Dnipro halfbacks have made the following number of appearances in the UPL this season: Yevhen Konoplianka – 18, Ruslan Rotan – 17, Jaba Kankava (14), Victor Giuliano – 14.
As for Dynamo midfielders, Oleh Husiev and Jeremain Lens have made 20 appearance each, Andriy Yarmolenko – 18, Younes Belhanda – 17, Lukman Haruna – 16, Miguel – 15, Ognjen Vukojevic – 11, Roman Bezus – 11, Serhiy Sydorchuk – 8 and Denys Harmash – 4.
Dnipropetrovsk side forwards Matheus and Selezniov have take the field 19 times each this season, Roman Zozulia – 15 and Nikola Kalinic – 14 times.
Dynamo usually play with one finisher. That can be Dieumerci Mbokani (19) or Brown Ideye (11).
Dnipro best striker is Yevhen Selezniov with 10 goals and Kyivans top forward is Dieumerci Mbokani – 11 well-placed shots.

Dynamo keeper Denys Boiko, who plays for Dnipro on loan, has made 19 appearances for Dnipropetrovsk this season (1,710 minutes) which is the UPL record at the moment.
Dnipro have more performers, who used to feature for the White-Blues.
These are Ruslan Rotan, Roman Zozulia and Serhiy Kravchenko.

On average 16,772 spectators attend Dnipro home matches this season. The capacity of the stadium is 31,003 people.
Last season 30,093 supporters came to watch their favourite team playing against FC Dynamo Kyiv.
