- What was the atmosphere during the first training camp like?
- The atmosphere was great, I like the way all guys communicate with each other and with coaches. I’m very happy to be in such a great club.
- Who is the best partner in defense for you Khacheridi or Mikhalik?
- It’s comfortable for me to play with each of them. But time will show who’ll become the first team regular.
- What was surprising for you during the training camp? What are your impressions from work with Oleh Blokhin?
- He is a good person and coach who can teach a lot. We had a good talk with him.
- You player against Dynamo Kyiv in the end of last year when you were the player of Dinamo Zagreb. What problems of Dynamo Kyiv did you notice?
- We wanted to use flanks mostly. But Dinamo Zagreb are a young team and we didn’t use any weakness of Dynamo Kyiv.
- When did you know for sure about your transfer to Dynamo Kyiv?
- I knew about negotiations about me but I wasn’t sure whether I’ll play here.
- They say that there in no leader in Dynamo Kyiv at the moment? Who can become the leader of the team?
- I think it can be Khacheridi or Vukojevic. But even without leader Dynamo Kyiv will demonstrate good football.
- Can you be the leader?
- Why not? I was the leader in Dinamo Zagreb and in previous teams and I can be the leader here. But I need some time to study the language.
- What position on the pitch is the best for you?
- I like to play as stopper but in Croatia national team I play as right back.
- Don’t your partners play jokes and teach you Russian strong language?
- They don’t because Vukojevic can translate each word to me.
- Whom did you know in Dynamo Kyiv except Vukojevic and Kranjcar?
- I saw Gusev and Khacheridi on TV. I paid much attention to this team and knew a lot about it.
- Have you already walked through Kyiv? Are you going to bring your family here?
- I haven’t enjoyet Kyiv yet as I had only four days before the first training camp and one day after it. I think I’ll settle after the second training camp. Later my father, mother and brother will come to Kyiv to visit me.
- Do you follow FC des Girondins de Bordeaux? What do you think about this team?
- The first training camp was too intense. But now we’ll start analyzing FC des Girondins de Bordeaux.
