Those who were little, if any, involved in the First Channel Cup did receive their opportunity to show off their talents. In the warm-up match vs. CSKA, Yuriy Semin opted to play reserves. It was youngsters that featured for CSKA, too. The White-Blues pulled a 2-1 victory.
“We needed some extra practice for the young players, who had had little playing experience. The match has provided some valuable information. Our first-mid-season training is drawing to its close. Some reserves will travel on to Spain. Other will not”, said Dynamo manager postgame.
Yevhen Khacheridi, now on trial with Dynamo, appeared in the first XI. “He is talented and looked confident. Yet there are a lot of things he needs to work on”, commented Yuriy Semin.
