Dynamo Kyiv earned a convincing 3-0 home win in the Kyiv derby against FC Arsenal on Monday.
The White-Blues went ahead on 21 minutes when Aliyev’s free kick hit goalkeeper Vitaliy Reva, then cannoned off Artem Kravets knee and into the net. Dynamo extended their lead in the 35th minute, when a powerful long-range shot by Oleksandr Aliyev found the target. A third goal came in the second half when Aliyev’s shot deflected into the net off Arsenal defender to give Dynamo a 3-0 win. Thus, Yuriy Semin's men maintain a twelve-point advantage over their nearest rivals.
