Howard Webb of England has been named as referee for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League group stage Matchday 6 clash between FC Dynamo Kyiv and FC Barcelona (Spain) at the Lobanovskyy Dynamo stadium.
Born on 14 July 1971 and based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, Howard took up refereeing at the age of 18, made his domestic debut in 2003 and earned his FIFA badge in 2005. He has never officiated matches involving FC Dynamo Kyiv.
The 38-year-old official will be assisted by countrymen Michael Mullarkey and Darren Cann. Another Englishman, Andre Marriner, will undertake fourth official duties.
UEFA delegate will be Michel Pralong of Switzerland, while German Dieter Pauly will act as UEFA referee observer.
