The White-Blues have booked their place in the Ukrainian Cup semi-final by winning 1-4 at FC Stal (Alchevsk) on Wednesday. Andriy Yarmolenko and Florin Cernat both scored twice for Dynamo and put their team ahead against ten-man Stal.
Three goals came in the first half as Florin Cernat’s double and Andriy Yarmolenko’s strike established a three-goal lead for the visitors. Cernat opened the scoring with a shot in the 14th minute, as Korrea’s free-kick found its way to Romanian midfielder. The Kyivers continued to press forward and scored their next goal in the 28th minute. Florin made the breakthrough again with a kick from 22 meters. Yarmolenko’s well-struck effort from the edge of the area enlarged Dynamo’s advantage to 0-3. Even Sablić own goal in the second half couldn’t prevent Dynamo from gaining an impressive victory. A late goal by Yarmolenko also contributed to Dynamo’s 1-4 victory against their opponents.
