Dynamo Kyiv drew a blank in Thursday's friendly at the training camp in Marbella against Esbjerg fB as the game ended scoreless. Despite players’ best efforts, the team were unable to find a way through the opponents' back line.
In a tight game of few scoring chances the Kyivers almost broke the deadlock at the end of the first half when Goran Sablić headed over from close range. The Danish side responded shortly after but couldn’t capitalise from their counter-attack. Oleksandr Aliyev had another opportunity in the second half, but his 35-metre shot was blocked by Esbjerg keeper.
A number of first-choice players didn’t take part in the match. Instead, some of Dynamo lads got another chance to demonstrate their skills.
