Dynamo Kyiv secured a single-goal victory against FC Lviv at the Lobanovskyy Dynamo Stadium in a tough match on Sunday.
Yuriy Semin’s men had a chance to score when they were awarded a penalty in the 13th minute. But, alas for the hosts, Oleksandr Aliyev's shot from the spot was saved by visitors’ goalkeeper. But with 75 minutes on the clock Dynamo took the lead as El Kaddouri’s shot ricocheted off a Lviv defender, and past goalkeeper Yuriy Shevchuk into the net.
Dynamo’s next league match against principal title rivals FC Shakhtar will take place next Sunday, November 16 on away soil.
