FC Dynamo Kyiv were forced to settle for a draw in their Matchday 12 game against stubborn rivals from Lviv. The White-Blues made a concerted effort to claim three points but ultimately all their attempts proved unsuccessful.
The visitors provided stiff opposition for Valeriy Gazzaev's men and went into a 1-0 lead thanks to goal from Karpaty forward Serhiy Zenyov. But substitute Miloš Ninković hit back for the White-Blues in the second-half. The home side kept Karpaty under constant pressure and tried hard to find a winner. However, the Lviv outfit withstood Dynamo’s active attacks, mostly thanks to brilliant display from goalkeeper Andriy Tlumak, and earned a point against the championship leaders.
Valeriy Gazzaev’s side still tops the table with thirty-two points. There’s no time to lose heart, especially prior to the Champions League match against Group F opponents FC Internazionale.
