At Old Trafford Ukrainians could have prevented their renowned opponent from moving into the next stage, but Georgii Demetradze missed the target from a short range and thus failed to equalize the Teddy Sheringham first-half opener. Instead, it was Dynamo that was eliminated after the 1:0 defeat.
