Emil Caras: “When you don’t score, opponents realize they can grab points”

Press conference of FC Dynamo Kyiv assistant coach Emil Caras after the game against FC Mynai at the NSC Olimpiyskyi (2:0).

- Our task was to gain three points and we’ve done it. Unfortunately, having created a lot of chances we’ve scored only twice. When you don’t score, opponents get confident and realize they can grab points. Mynai demonstrated decent possession skills sometimes and tried to use counterattacks.

- Why was Rodrigues absent?

- We have a lot of performers. Mister said he’ll let everyone play. That’s why we play twice a week and have friendlies against really good teams. That’s natural when you have 25 outfield performers.

- How does Mircea Lucescu feel? When will he be back to the bench?

- Mister is getting better. Yesterday he came to the training complex and held a theory class. Then he returned to the hospital. I really hope he’ll rejoin us tomorrow.

- Does Denys Harmash play as forward temporarily?

- We checked how he deals with this position at the training camp, but I don’t think that will last. So far he fulfills the amount of work Mister wants him to. Meanwhile our forwards are reconditioning.

- Shakhtar have spent a lot of money on transfers. How difficult will it be for Dynamo to repeat the success of the previous year?

- I don’t count other clubs’ money. We’re working with focus on all competitions. Each game is important. We care about quality of our football first of all.
