- Welcome to Dynamo Kyiv! What are your first impressions?
- I’m thankful for this opportunity. I’m very glad to sign the contract. I know Dynamo are big club in this country. I’ve already spent a few days in Kyiv and I can say Dynamo employees are very friendly. I’m really happy.
- How should we call you?
- I like it when they call me Ramirez.
- What were you doing at Dynamo training complex yesterday?
- I was very impressed as Dynamo have great training infrastructure with lots of fields. I like it.
- Your medical examination was quite lengthy. What do you think of Kyiv doctors?
- I’ve talked to many doctors. It’s great that a lot of them speak English.
- They say you almost signed a contract with Rubin Kazan. How come you didn’t?
- There were some issues including personal ones. Then I was invited to Dynamo and accepted the offer with pleasure. It’s a chance to feature in the Champions League and to live in beautiful Ukrainian capital.
- You’ve already played in the Europa League. Are you ready for the Champions League?
- Sure!
- What are your first impressions of Kyiv?
- Actually I’ve already walked around a bit. I’ve been to some restaurants. Kyiv is a big city. People are nice. I like it here.
- How much time do you need for adaptation?
- I’ve spent a few years in Czech Republic and Slovakia. I think football in these countries resembles Ukrainian league. So I hope it won’t take me long to get accustomed. My goal is to play and score a lot.
- Do you need some time to regain fitness after vacation?
- I’ve spent the major part of my vacation at Venezuela national team camp. So I don’t think I need much time to recondition. I guess a week will be enough.
- You scored 17 goals and performed 8 assists last season. What are your personal aims in Dynamo?
- I hope to score for Dynamo even more than I did in Slovakia. Besides I want to help the team win the league again.
- What do you know about the UPL and rivalry between Dynamo and Shakhtar?
- I know that Shakhtar are also really good club. But now Ramirez is here, in Kyiv. I’ll do my best to help Dynamo win the league again.
