Still sometimes one should change the team for some time to embody his dream to become the part of the native club.
Dynamo Kyiv football Academy trainee Yevhen Makarenko is one of such players. Having spent one season playing for FC Hoverla Uzhhorod he returned to Kyiv with new hopes…
After graduation from football Academy Makarenko started playing for Dynamo reserve team (50 appearances, 7 goals). On July 18 2010 he made his debut for Dynamo-2. That season he made 33 appearances and scored 2 goals.
In 2011/12 season ex-Dynamo head coach Yuriy Semin took Yevhen to the training camp with the main squad. Never the less Makarenko kept playing for Dynamo-2 after that.
In summer of 2012 Yevhen went on a loan move to FC Hoverla Uzhhorod. On July 14 he made his debut in Ukrainian Premier League. At the end of the season he even became team skipper. His return to Dynamo was absolutely natural.
