Dynamo players Oleksandr Aliyev and Maksim Shatskikh spoke with Dynamo official site correspondent about upcoming league match against FC Shakhtar.
Oleksandr Aliyev, Dynamo midfielder:
- I’m sure it will be a very interesting encounter as both teams are desperate for a good result. I doubt the Shakhtar's poor form will influence the match. Our rivals will have extra motivation for this game. That is why it won’t be easy to win.
Maksim Shatskikh, Dynamo forward:
- Our disappointing defeat by FC Porto is already forgotten. First and foremost we are fully focused on Sunday's league game with Shakhtar Donetsk. It is important not to let our opponents get closer to the top in the league table. As for Shakhtar, they are really unlucky this season. Maybe the reason for that is that the club had changed their logo… You know that every team has different prejudices. But I’m sure it won’t happen next season. This football club will be eager to regain lost ground and will prove their strength once again. However, our next match against Shakhtar is going to be very tough. They prefer to play very attacking football now. On the other hand, they still have many problems in defence.
