- We know Dynamo really well. They are experienced team with good performers. I also know they reached the Champions’ Cup final twice. In 1987 we opposed them. So, I don’t think matches against Dynamo will be easy for us. Still our aim is to get out of the group.
- Do you remember Porto previous matches against Dynamo?
- A little bit. We were better, but those mates were difficult for us.
- Dynamo perform very successfully in Ukrainian competitions. They suffered their previous domestic league defeat the year before last and reached the Europa League quarterfinals. Does that impress you?
- Champions League is a different competition. Players and teams are of higher level here. Still we don’t expect our games against Dynamo to be laughers.
- Porto often come to Ukraine in recent years to oppose Dynamo or Shakhtar. Have you already got used to rivalry against Ukrainian clubs?
- We have in some way (smiling). Still trips to Ukraine aren’t easy as they take much time. On the other hand this year Benfica will have to go even further – to Astana. Anyway we must qualify for the next round.
