As you know, Khatskevych took charge of Dynamo in June of 2017. The White-Blues have played 100 games under his direction since then: W-60, D-24, L-16. In 2018 Dynamo won the Ukrainian Super Cup.
The president of the club Ihor Surkis has commented upon the new agreement with Khatskevych:
- Olexandr had to work in quite extreme conditions. When he became the coach, we agreed that, considering current situation in the country, we must rely on our youngsters. We haven’t won trophies, but Olexandr has done what we agreed on.
Next season we have definite goals – to reach the Champions League group stage, to fight for domestic league trophy and national cup.
Olexandr Khatskevych:
- We’ve had meaningful negotiations with president of the club. Our goals don’t change. Such team as Dynamo must always aim for victories. Fans, coaches, players and president miss the Champions League. I think this team is ready to succeed. Of course we also want to win the domestic league and national cup.
