Four Dynamo players in the Ukrainian national squad

On Tuesday, August 26, the Ukrainian national team coach Oleksiy Mykhailychenko announced a list of 23 players who will prepare for starting matches of WC-2010 qualifying tournament against Belarus (September 6, Lviv) and Kazakhstan (September 10, Almaty).

There's only one change in Ukraine team squad compared to a friendly game against Poland. The goalkeeper of Shakhtar Donetsk Rustam Khudzhamov was invited to Ukraine National team instead of the Dnipro goalkeeper Vyacheslav Kernozenko who is presently injured.

Ukraine’s squad:

Goalkeepers: Oleksandr Shovkovskyy (Dynamo Kyiv), Andriy Pyatov, Rustam Khudzhamov (both from Shakhtar Donetsk).

Defenders: Taras Mykhalyk and Andriy Nesmachnyy (both from Dynamo), Vyacheslav Shevchuk, Dmytro Chyhrynskiy and Oleksandr Kucher (all from Shakhtar), Hryhoriy Yarmash (Vorskla Poltava), Vitaliy Mandzyuk (Arsenal Kyiv), Andriy Rusol (Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk).

Midfielders: Maksym Kalynychenko and Serhiy Nazarenko (both from Dnirpo), Denis Holaydo (Tavriya Simferopol), Oleksiy Hai (Shakhtar), Anatoliy Tymoschuk (Zenit St. Petersburg, Russia), Yevhen Levchenko (Groningen, Netherlands), Serhiy Kravchenko (Vorskla).

Forwards: Artem Milevskyy (Dynamo), Andriy Voronin (Liverpool FC, England), Andriy Shevchenko (Milan FC, Italy), Volodymyr Homenyuk (Tavriya), Evhen Seleznyov (Shakhtar).
