The meeting took place as a part of social project “Dynamo getting closer” initiated by the president of the club Ihor Surkis.
Kids from different wards gathered at the “School of Superheroes”, where patients can have fun when they don’t have procedures. One of the Superheroes, who came to visit children, was FC Dynamo Kyiv forward Fran Sol.
Fran Sol and his wife Aida brought kids presents from FC Dynamo Kyiv so that they could be engaged in sports activities.
When Fran asked children which kind of sports they liked most of all, they named football.
Dynamo player told that his family likes to live in Ukraine as Kyiv is a big and beautiful city.
When they asked him about his lack of game practice, he said he hopes to gain the regular starting spot soon. Fran also promised to dedicate his next goal to kids he met. Children even invented a special sign he’ll demonstrate.
Then kids got autographs and took photos with Fran Sol. After that everyone went to the football ground located at Okhmadyt territory. Children had fun playing football with Dynamo performer.
“I’ve been supporting Dynamo since I was 6”, - told 16-year-old Dania. “I was lucky to be present at their games against Chelsea and Shakhtar. What I don’t like is that Fran Sol has little game practice. I’m really glad to meet him!”
The event finished with a common photo and lots of selfies.
“Me and my wife are very glad to be with kids. I feel they’re happy. In Ukraine, children like to play football”, - said Fran Sol.
“It’s an extraordinary event for kids. When their idols visit them, they feel inspired. We know that dreams can heal. Many children came to have a chat with Fran and to play football with him. Such meeting are very important”, - said the founder of “School of superheroes” Yevhenia Smirnova.
