Goals by Voloshyn and Braharu help Ukraine U21 beat Northern Ireland

On Tuesday, September 10, Ukraine U21 played another Euro-2025 qualifier. The Yellow-Blues faced Northern Ireland away.

Three FC Dynamo Kyiv players were in Ukraine starting lineup – goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret, wingers Nazar Voloshyn and Maksym Braharu.

Unai Melgosa’s men opened the score in the 10th minute. Ocheretko found Voloshyn inside the box who hit the target one-touch – 0:1.

Visitors increased their lead halfway through the first half. Braharu played one-two with Yarmoliuk, rushed into the penalty area, eluded the defender, goalkeeper and netted the ball – 0:2.

In the 55th minute two more Dynamo representatives took the field – midfielder Valentyn Rubchynskyi and forward Ihor Horbach (on loan at Zoria).

Home side pulled one back from the penalty spot, but Ukrainians secured the victory. Now they have 24 points after 8 matches.
