Goran Popov faces knee operation

Dynamo defender Goran Popov is to undergo a knee operation after conservative treatment methods failed to work. The Macedonian full-back has been struggling with a knee problem since late October and is now going to Italy to determine whether or not he requires surgery.

– I have a damaged meniscus and I will probably need an operation, – says Goran. – I'm sure it is not too serious, so there is no reason to worry. If everything works out well, I’ll be able to return to training 15 to 20 days after surgery.
