Ukraine U19 beat Kazakhstan in Euro 2026 elite round qualifying

The Ukraine U19 national team continued their impressive run in the elite round of qualification for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2026, securing a convincing 3:0 victory over Kazakhstan in their second Group 5 match.

After edging past Northern Ireland 1:0 in their opening game the side coached by Dmytro Mykhailenko delivered a more dominant performance this time.

Ukraine broke the deadlock late in the first half through Tyutyunov. The team extended their lead in the second half with Kamenskyi and Bohdanov both finding the net to seal a comfortable win.

Defender Kostiantyn Hubenko, representing Dynamo Kyiv, once again featured as a late substitute. He entered the match in the 89th minute, contributing during the closing stages.

With two wins from two matches Ukraine now sit top of Group 5 with maximum points, putting themselves in a strong position to qualify.

Ukraine will play their final elite round fixture against Romania on March 31 at 17:00. Only the group winners advance to the final tournament.

The UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2026 finals will take place in Wales from June 28 to July 11 with seven group winners joining the host nation.
