Ibrahim Kargbo: “I miss football and work to come back in good shape”

Training sessions

My knee is already fine (Kargbo got injured at the winter training camp). I work to come back in good shape. As for my sessions during the quarantine, we’ve got a training program from our coaches. Almost every morning I do jogging for 20-30 minutes near my house. Then I go home and do exercises for core and my knee.

Sometimes I go to our training complex to practice with the ball. I like intense running exercises. Yesterday I worked with Benito and Kadiri. Personally I can’t have two days without training sessions in a row.

Typical session at the training complex lasts an hour and twenty minutes. Then I do exercises at home. Unfortunately we can’t go to the gym.

Everyday life

I mostly keep in touch with Kadiri and Benito. I also played FIFA with Denys Popov a couple of times. I chat with other guys via Instagram. It’s easier to communicate when we’re together.

I leave home only to go to a training session or to buy groceries at the store located in my house.

I really miss football, so I post a lot of football photos and videos in my Instagram. Anyway, I work every day to come back stronger.

Free time

I play FIFA and other videogames, watch movies. My girlfriend is with me, so things are a bit easier. But still I feel bored without football. Besides we can’t go outside. Shops and restaurants are closed…

As for films, recently I watched “Tape”. It’s a good one. I also watch series, such as “Shooter” and “Money heist”. Sometimes I watch horror movies. I liked “The woman in black”.
