Ibrahim Kargbo: “I’m happy I’ve got a chance to play for Dynamo”

- I’m happy I’ve got a chance to play for Dynamo at last. And it’s great I’ve made my debut in the Ukrainian Cup semifinal. It was a kind of test for me as I wanted to find out whether I’m ready to perform after 6-7 months without football.

- Did you know you would take the field in Mynai?

- I worked with the team and I was ready to play. A day before the game coach said: “Don’t forget your passport, you’re going with us”. I started the game as substitute, but sensed coach would give me a chance.

- You played for Dynamo first team only at the winter training camp after which there was a long break. Do you already have mutual understanding with teammates on the field?

- I think our mutual understanding will be getting better. Anything could happen in the first game. This was semifinal and we had to win. The result was above all. As for me, I think in several games I’ll find common ground with teammates on the field.

- How many goals are you going to score this season if you have game practice?

- I can’t promise anything, but I can put it this way: my aim is to score four goals by the end of the season. I think it would be a decent result.
