- On September 5 Artem Milevskyi will become a free agent. I hope he’ll find another team, though it won’t be easy. Transfer window is already closed, so he can’t be signed by some club from European top leagues. Maybe he’s decided to make a pause for half a year. I have no claims to Artem. Maybe we didn’t pay enough attention to his upbringing. He likes to have fun and football is secondary for him. Still he did a lot for FC Dynamo Kyiv.
- Didn’t Artem change his attitude to work as he lost his place in the main squad?
- I haven’t seen him at the training session for half a year already, so I know nothing about his attitude. Maybe he’ll demonstrate his best qualities in another team.
- Did you talk to him personally?
- Of course I did. Unfortunately glamorous life is his top priority.
- Didn’t Dynamo offer Artem a new contract?
- We didn’t offer him anything. Artem also didn’t ask me to cancel his contract earlier. The head coach didn’t lot upon him. This summer we signed good players, but they need time for adaptation. As for Milevskyi – it’s Blokhin’s decision. In spring Artem tried to play for Dynamo-2, but then he decided to give up. He was getting his salary untill he performed his duties.
- So how will he make his living?
- You should ask him. He is 28 and it’s all up to him. I wish him luck.
- Will money he earned in Dynamo hold out till his retirement?
- Taking into account his way of life, I think he’ll have to work to guarantee himself a carefree retirement. I hope Artem’s play for his next club will let him get call-ups to Ukraine national team.
- What club is he going to play for?
- I have no idea.
