- First of all I want to express condolences to the family of Oleh Babayev and to FC Vorskla Poltava direction. He was a good friend of mine. Today football paled into insignificance.
As for the game, I assumed that it will be like that after the Ukrainian Super Cup. First match is always exciting and it’s good that we’ve won. Our performers are in different physical conditions. Some of them have just rejoined the team, like Veloso and Tremoulinas. It will take Mbokani about two weeks to recover. Anyway in some episodes we looked worthy.
- Are you glad that such young players as Rybalka and Kalytvyntsev take the field?
- Sure, Kalytvyntsev, Rybalka, Makarenko are Dynamo future. They’ll achieve a lot if they keep working on their skills. We also have Sydorchuk, who can enforce Dynamo any minute. I support this reformation as it takes more than a year to build a team.
- In the second half Rebrov found place both for Makarenko and Tremoulinas on the left flank. What do you think about that?
- I think Tremoulinas plays for attack better than for defense, so we have a performer to feature as left winger while Lens is reconditioning. We also have Husiev and Yarmolenko, who can play on both wings.
- Were you surprised when you didn’t see Yarmolenko in the starting lineup?
- I wasn’t as Andriy had some health problems after the Super Cup. On the other hand, Kalytvyntsev got game practice. I hope Kravets will start scoring soon. Bezus hit the target today, which means that criticism was useful. Rybalka plays well in the midfield. Lens will start working on Monday. Mbokani will be ready to play in 10-12 days. The great loss for us is Harmash. Still he’s also training with the rest of the team already. Khacheridi is also about to recover.
- Dynamo have some stars at the bench, like Kranjcar for example. What is their future in your team?
- They must struggle for the place among first eleven no matter what. If there will be any transfer offers we’ll analyze them. I proved that in case with Brown Ideye. I let him go as he earned this with two years of hard work for Dynamo.
- What can you tell about the situation with Oleh Blokhin?
- There is a contract and I can assure you that FC Dynamo Kyiv don’t owe Oleh Blokhin anything under this document.
