- Despite tough times in Ukraine FC Dynamo Kyiv don’t forget about those, who are in need…
- We’ve been supporting such kids for 20 years already and we’ll keep doing that. I’d like to wish everyone good health, luck and wellbeing. I hope you’ll keep supporting your favourite team to switch off a bit from what’s going on in our country.
- It’s seems you don’t have time for rest even during vacation…
- I can’t call that a vacation. I just can sleep one hour longer so far. I’ve talked to Serhiy Rebrov. There are some issues we must take care of. Training camps must be organized properly so that our team kept gladdening supporters.
- Have you defined sparring-partners for training camps?
- I guess Serhiy Rebrov has. We keep looking for sparring-partners for the second training camp. First of all the team must get ready physically and psychologically.
- The club is looking for newcomers. What news can you share?
- You won’t hear names from me. First of all we need a left back. If we find a proper performer we’ll sign him. Today it’s quite difficult to invite foreigners to Ukraine. As I’ve already said, our key task is to preserve current squad and team spirit.
- Are Dynamo interested in Toni Kukoč?
- That’s not true.
- Is it a principled position of the club not to play friendlies against Russian teams?
- Our fans are very patriotic, so if we have a possibility to choose teams from other countries we’ll do that. I didn’t forbid Dynamo to play against FC Krasnodar or FC Kuban, but we should avoid these sparrings if it’s possible.
- Dieumerci Mbokani will be participating in AFCON from January 17 till February 8. Is it good or bad for your club?
- Of course it’s prestigious for our club that our player has been called up to national team, but that also means that Mbokani can lose his best conditions. He’s proved to be a high profile performer, who benefits Dynamo. That’s why we need him and wand Dieumerci to rejoin the club as soon as possible.
