- We shouldn’t think that we’re leaders only because we were among seeded teams. We all remember our recent games against BSC Young Boys. So, we should take the field and fight till the final whistle.
- Did you have any preferences before the drawing?
- I didn’t. For example, I think in the second pot all teams were approximately of the same level except for Olympique de Marseille. We’ll fight against opponents we’ve got to earn points for Ukraine and our club. We should check the schedule and get ready to gladden our fans.
- You’ve got another chance to face Young Boys. Is it fate’s gift?
- I don’t think so. We’ll have to perform on artificial turf again. I want our players to prove themselves and fans that the previous failure in Switzerland was an accident. We should think of that, not of the revenge. We know that Young Boys are orderly team, but we must defeat such teams if we have some ambitions. The task is to get out of the group.
- Should one expect surprises from FK Partizan?
- Serbian and Croatian teams always have combative spirit. I remember European Champions’ Cup matches against Partizan. We won 2:0 in Belgrade and 3:0 in Kyiv.
