- It was a very important win. Dynamo have demonstrated really worthy play. The match against FC Shakhtar Donetsk also was pretty good, but the best team doesn’t always win in football.
Today guys did their best on the field. They’re making headway. They’ll make mistakes and lose, but we must believe in them. They have great potential.
- Young Shaparenko and Mykolenko have been called up to the national team. What do you think of that?
- Ukraine coaches have time to follow players. They didn’t invite these two youngsters for no reason. They count on them and it’s quite possible Shevchenko will let them take the field in one of the forthcoming games. As I’ve said, they have great potential. If Mykolenko keeps this up he’ll be a very good player. He knows what to do on the field.
- What’s your opinion concerning summer newcomers?
- Both Brazilians did pretty confidently today, I liked the way they acted. They’re getting accustomed to the team. We signed them as enforcement, but they needed time for adaptation. No one listened to Olexandr Khatskevych, but he’s building the team and he’ll keep doing it.
- Dynamo U-19 reached quite positive result in away game against RSC Anderlecht youngsters – 1:1…
- One game is okay, but the task is to reach the next stage. Our guys can outplay the Belgian side. I’m satisfied with the result, but they could do better. The first half was a failure.
