It was decided to hold all matches behind closed doors. We all know that today there’s danger in our country and who are its sources. All attempts to appeal to Football Federation of Ukraine direction common sense were useless.
Fortunately there’s a powerful group of fans among Dynamo supporters – “ultras”. Dynamo ultras offered supporters of other Ukrainian teams to forget about enmity and to join for the sake of the future of our country and our football. This spring football matches are the place of unity of Ukrainian patriots. It’s evident that someone didn’t like that. First of all – those, who want to divide our country.
Attempts to explain that to Football Federation didn’t yield the result until ultras took the floor. Their position and readiness to defend it fearlessly made functionaries return to real life and give Ukrainians football back. Those, who saw unity march of Shakhtar, Vorskla and Dynamo fans before the Ukrainian Cup final, watched the game at the stadium or on TV, will never forget the unique atmosphere of sincere solidarity of patriots.
Personally I and FC Dynamo Kyiv in general want to thank our ultras for what they’ve done. They’ve united all football Ukraine and made those, who were temporary “deaf”, hear their voice.
