Inhulets – Dynamo – 0:2. Report

This was the first game after the international break. Traditionally FIFA week leaves its imprint on club football, but this time Dynamo faced more serious issues. Mircea Lucescu couldn’t count on 15 first team performers – mostly due to COVID-19.

So Kyivans had new lineup variant in this match. The most interesting peculiarity was the appearance of Denys Harmash. It was his second game since the start of the season.

Both sides started the match actively and the score was opened quite quickly. After a free kick, Vitaliy Buialskyi dispossessed Inhulets player, Denys Harmash obtained the ball and sent it into the net – 0:1.

The White-Blues had another chance halfway through the first half. Carlos de Pena hit the post with a header after cross by Tomasz Kedziora.

Home side put some promising set pieces. In the 30th minute Olexandr Kozak headed the ball in after cross by Denys Yanakov, but upon consulting the VAR the goal was cancelled due to offside.

Dynamo had another opportunity late in the first half. Mykola Shaparenko attempted from inside the box, but goalkeeper Bohdan Shust saved his team.

Early in the second half, Shust demonstrated his skills again by saving the free kick attempt by Carlos de Pena.

Later Shust parried the header by Kedziora from close range.

Dynamo killed the intrigue in the 80th minute. Harmash obtained the ball next to the penalty area, passed to Shaparenko and Mykola hit the bottom corner – 0:2.

So, Dynamo win in Kropyvnytskyi and remain the UPL leaders.
