After featuring in all the three Channel One Cup games in Israel, Ukraine international Andriy Nesmachnyy was substituted in the final game vs. Shakhtar in the break.
Now back in Ukraine, the defender was dropped from Ukraine’s squad to play a friendly vs. Cyprus Feb 6 under the country’s new coach Mykhaylychenko.
“I have been omitted due to some slight muscle injury and I am training individually in Dynamo”.
The defender, however, is not going to miss the team’s second mid-season training, although the injury setback makes him doubtful for the first warm-up games scheduled to be played in Spain.
