Euro U-19. Ukraine with Liusin and Hubenko in squad secures a place in semi-finals

In the second round of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2026, Ukraine's U19 national team came from behind to defeat Serbia 2:1. Ranković opened the scoring in the 16th minute, but the "Blue-Yellows" responded with two goals from Vitalii Hliut.

The winning goal was assisted by Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Pavlo Liusin who played the full match. Another Dynamo representative, Kostiantyn Hubenko, came on as a substitute in the 84th minute.

Thanks to this victory Ukraine not only secured a place in the semi-finals of the tournament but also qualified for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

As a reminder, in the opening round the "Blue-Yellows" defeated Croatia 3:1, with Liusin contributing both a goal and an assist. In the final group-stage match, Ukraine will face Italy on July 5 at 18:00.
