Nine FC Dynamo Kyiv performers have been called up to their national teams.
The majority of them have joined Ukraine camp. Andriy Shevchenko counts on six Kyivans: defenders Mykyta Burda, Vitaliy Mykolenko, halfbacks Viktor Tsyhankov, Mykola Shaparenko, Volodymyr Shepelev and forward Artem Besedin.
On June 7 the Yellow-Blues will host Serbia while on June 10 – Luxembourg. Both games will take place at the Arena Lviv. Kick-off – 21:45.
Defender Tamas Kadar has been called up to Hungary national team to face Azerbaijan away on June 8 (kick-off – 19:00, Kyiv time) and to host Wales on June 11 (21:45).
Another Dynamo defender Tomasz Kedziora has joined Poland. On June 7 his team will oppose North Macedonia away and on June 10 they’ll host Israel (both games start at 21:45).
Benjamin Verbic, who’s been recovering after injury for a while, has a chance to featur for Slovenia. On June 7 his team will face Austria away (21:45) while on June 10 they’ll face Latvia in Riga (21:45).
Nine more Dynamo performers have been called up to youth teams. Bohdan Biloshevskyi, Akhmed Alibekov, Yevhen Smyrnyi and Bohdan Lednev (on loan at FC Zoria Luhansk) have won Valeriy Lobanovskyi Tournament with Ukraine U-21. Meanwhile Ukraine U-21 have reached the World Cup quarterfinal for the first time ever. There’re are five Dynamo representatives at the Yellow-Blues camp: goalkeeper Vladyslav Kucheruk, defender Denys Popov, halfbacks Heorhiy Tsytaishvili, Serhiy Buletsa and forward Vladyslav Supriaha.
