- Carlos, what do you think of the drawing outcome? You could have got much tougher opponent…
- I think Brugge are very good team. They outplayed us in the Champions League qualification last season. They demonstrate decent football. That won’t be easy, but we can go through to the next stage.
- You played against Brugge last year. What do you remember about those games?
- Those were two tough matches. We did better in Belgium than in Kyiv and could play at least in a draw. As for home match, we started really well and scored, but didn’t manage to increase the lead. But that’s Brugge desert as they have really good players.
- Do you think Brugge have gotten stronger since the last time you faced them?
- I think they have. They’ve preserved their lineup and even enforced it with some players I know very well.
- Have Dynamo gotten stronger?
- I think we have too. We have our own philosophy and we’ve been featuring together for quite a while. Our youngsters are constantly making headway.
- This year you opposed another Belgian club – Gent. What do you think of Belgian teams that feature in euro cups?
- Belgian clubs play really good spectacular football. Brugge are reigning champions of their league and leaders of this season so far, so they’re best representatives of Belgian football at the moment.
- What are your impressions of your first Champions League campaign?
- In our group there were two top clubs and it was extremely difficult to succeed against them. Frankly speaking, our realistic goal was to reach euro cups spring stage and we’ve done that.
