On January 4, FC Dynamo Kyiv played the third friendly at the training camp in Turkey. Mircea Lucescu’s men faced the Bulgarian side PFC Levski Sofia.
As you know, in previous games the White-Blues defeated Ludogorets (4:1) and Cukaricki (3:2).
Levski started quite actively. Petkov sent the ball over the bar from a promising position. Then Bushchan coped with a strike from distance. Later Heorhiy performed inaccurate pass and Welton got a good chance, but didn’t score.
Later Sydorchuk didn’t manage to clear the ball in the midfield and Welton rushed towards the goal, but didn’t manage to elude Zabarnyi.
Meanwhile Kyivans used their first decent opportunity. In the 32nd minute, Sydorchuk found Kedziora in the right side of the box, Tomasz put a lot cross and Buialskyi hit the corner – 1:0.
Nothing really dangerous was created before the break any more. Tsunami put a decent cross from the left side, but his teammates didn’t reach the ball. Vitinho’s shot from close range was blocked.
In the second half Dynamo gaffer changed the lineup. Only Vitinho stayed on the field. Vanat missed the target after low cross from Tsyhankov. Goalkeeper parried Shaparenko’s effort from distance. Vitinho hit the post from unpromising angle.
Dynamo continued attacking and creating scoring chances. Defender blocked the shot by de Pena in the nick of time. A few times the White-Blues tried to use young goalkeeper’s mistakes, but didn’t increase the lead.
Despite totally controlling the situation on the field, Dynamo conceded in the 76th minute. Kostadinov hit the corner from the box line – 1:1.
After that Levski created more chances. Boiko grabbed the ball after shot from distance. Then Bulgarian team scored, but referee disallowed the goal due to foul against Bol.
Besedin had a pretty good opportunity, but goalkeeper fouled against him outside the penalty area.
So, it’s 1:1. Dynamo continue their unbeaten streak at winter training camps.
