On Saturday, February 19, FC Dynamo Kyiv played their fourth friendly at the third winter training camp in Turkey. The White-Blues faced champions of Uzbekistan Pakhtakor Tashkent FK.
The game wasn’t easy for Mircea Lucescu’s men and ended in a goalless draw although both sides had scoring chances.
At first Dynamo maintained possession and Karavayev unleashed decent strike. Gradually Pakhtakor improved the situation, but didn’t attack a lot. Ceran disturbed Boiko with a shot, but our keeper coped with it.
De Pena noticed that Pakhtakor keeper left the goal behind and attempted from the midfield, but the ball went over the bar. Uzbek side took two free kicks and a corner, but generally they didn’t have a lot of chances in the first half.
Things didn’t really change after the break. Both teams mostly relied on shots from distance. Shaparenko attempted from 30-meter distance, but keeper was there for his team. Teammates created a good opportunity for Erkinov, but Boiko cleared his shot. Karavayev responded from close range, but Suyunov did a good job too.
Buialskyi put a good cross to Vanat, but Vladyslav missed with a header. 10 minutes before the time Pakhtakor could score, but their player hit the post! Then Neshcheret saved Dynamo after shots by Turgunboev and Larin! Anyway, the match ended in a draw – 0:0.
On February 21, Kyivans will play another friendly – against the Latvian side FK RFS.
