On Sunday, February 20, FC Dynamo Kyiv played another friendly at the training camp in Turkey – against the Latvian side Riga FC.
The two sides exchanged attacks early in the game, but Riga were the first to create scoring chances. Aurelio attempted powerfully from inside the box – over the bar.
Dynamo got more active halfway through the first half. Yatsyk shot inaccurately while Supriaha didn’t reach the ball after low cross by Vivcharenko.
Riga could open the score later. Ramirez obtained the ball after corner and unleashed his strike from close range, but Neshcheret parried.
Second half started with Latvian side attacks and eventually they succeeded. Jojic headed the ball in after cross from the right side – 0:1.
The White-Blues conducted several substitutions after which the team started creating more chances. Goalkeeper cleared decent shot by Harmash after which Vanat didn’t manage with a follow-up.
In a few minutes Vanat sent the ball over the keeper with a chip, but defender saved his team.
Anyway, Dynamo equalized eventually. Teammates found Tsarenko inside Riga penalty are, he eluded two opponents and hit the bottom corner – 1:1.
So, it’s a draw. On February 23, Kyivans will play another friendly – against champions of Latvia Valmiera FC.
