They faced FC Dynamo Brest from Belarus. It should be mentioned that former players of our team Artem Milevskyi and Yevhen Khacheridi currently perform for Brest side. Before the game against Kyivans they had a friendly against another Ukrainian club – FC Mariupol (2:2).
Dynamo Kyiv started the game actively. Kargbo was really trying to approve himself. Still Dynamo Brest also responded with dangerous attacks. Anyway, halfway through the first half Kyivans succeeded. Shots by Buialskyi and Andriyevskyi were blocked by defenders, but then Pivaric obtained the ball and hit the far bottom corner.
In several minutes Dynamo Brest had a decent chance to equalize, but Bushchan parried the shot by Hardzeichuk.
After that Kyivans took the game under control although attempts by Kadar, Kadiri and Pivaric weren’t too dangerous. Still Josip managed to score again. He appeared in front of the Brest side box and sent the ball over goalkeeper with a header – 2:0.
After the break Dynamo Kyiv totally changed the lineup so that more players could get some game practice. Anyway, the situation on the field didn’t change a lot. Our team kept creating chances.
Eventually Duelund used the pass by Shepelev and hit the target from the penalty area line – 3:0.
