The White-Blues faced KF Shkendija from North Macedonia.
Traditionally, Mircea Lucescu used the opportunity to apply lineup rotation.
Dynamo took the ball under control at once. Tsyhankov appeared in a promising position, but his final pass from the left side was blocked. Later opponent cleared his cross from the wing. Besedin’s attempt was blocked after which Rodrigues missed.
When Shkendija tried to attack, the White-Blues applied effective pressure. Later in the first half the game became less dynamic.
In the second half Rodrigues and Besedin kept being active. Gerson attempted from the box line while the shot by Artem was parried by goalkeeper.
Buialskyi created two opportunities. At first he sent the ball over the bar from distance and then passed to Supriaha, whose header was a failure.
Shkendija had several chances too, but Dynamo coped with their set pieces. Eventually our team demonstrated a great attack. Andriyevskyi found Liedniev in the penalty area and Bohdan netted the ball – 1:0. This goal turned out to be decisive.
