On Sunday, February 16, FC Dynamo Kyiv played another friendly at the training camp in Turkey – against the Latvian side FK RFS the White-Blues faced in the Europa League recently (1:0 for Kyivans).
Dynamo started the game with possession. Early in the match RFS handled the ball in front of the penalty area, but Pikhalionok missed with a free kick.
RFS responded with a counterattack in the 21st minute. Talla attempted with a header after cross from the left side, but sent the ball over the bar.
The White-Blues continued pressing. Mykhavko missed with a header after corner. Kabayev shot from distance, but goalkeeper grabbed the ball.
Later Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men created two really good opportunities within a few minutes. At first the ball hit the post after the shot by Kabayev and rebound, and then Yarmolenko attempted from inside the penalty area, but goalkeeper parried.
The second half wasn’t as rich on scoring chances as the first one. Both sides were passing inaccurately frequently.
